Terms of Service

Version 2026-11-03. Updated .

In short

  • BenchAlgo is a research tool. It does not give investment advice and it does not place trades.
  • Your strategies stay yours. We use them only to run BenchAlgo for you.
  • Credits pay for AI on our server and for backtests. EU consumers keep their statutory rights.

1. Who we are

BenchAlgo is a product of Crowie s. r. o., Lipovník 187, 049 42 Lipovník, Slovakia. Company ID 53098391. VAT ID SK2121269051. Commercial Register of Mestský súd Košice, section Sro, entry 55334/V.

These terms apply when you use benchalgo.com, the BenchAlgo web app and the st-mcp tools.

2. What BenchAlgo is, and what it is not

  • BenchAlgo tests trading strategies on historical market data and scores them. It is a research tool.
  • It does not give investment, financial, tax or legal advice, does not recommend any strategy and does not place trades.
  • Results are simulations on past data. They are hypothetical, they do not predict future results, and a high score is not a promise of profit.
  • Trading futures involves a risk of loss, which can exceed the money you deposit. Decisions to trade, and their results, are yours alone.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
  • Use your real name and an email address you control, and keep your password private. An account is for one person; do not share it.
  • Tool tokens for st-mcp act on your behalf. Keep them secret and revoke any you no longer use in Settings.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

4. Your strategies and content

  • Your ideas, chats, strategies and the code your AI writes for you remain yours, subject to any third-party rights.
  • You allow us to store, run, test, score and show them to you, as far as that is needed to provide BenchAlgo. We do not publish or sell them, and we do not use them to train AI models.
  • Our staff open your data only to help you, to keep the service secure or because the law requires it. Each such access is written to an audit log.
  • Submit only what you have the right to submit. Do not put passwords, keys or other secrets in strategies or chats.

5. Acceptable use

Do not, and do not help anyone else to:

  • try to break out of the sandbox that runs strategy code, attack our systems or other users, or probe accounts that are not yours;
  • try to extract, reconstruct or export market data or raw prices, for example by encoding them in strategy output, timing or results;
  • reverse engineer, copy or work around the scoring, the test harness or their limits;
  • overload or scrape the service, or automate it other than through the tools we provide;
  • use BenchAlgo for anything unlawful or to infringe anyone’s rights.

Report security problems to support@benchalgo.com. Good-faith reports are welcome; when you test, do not access other users’ data.

We may restrict or close an account that breaks these rules, with notice and a chance to resolve the issue where that is appropriate. Mandatory consumer remedies are unaffected.

6. Market data

Market data comes from licensed third-party providers of CME Globex data. It stays on our servers and is used only to run your tests. You see results as profit and loss in US dollars and as moves in ticks, never as raw prices. You receive no right to the data itself and may not redistribute it.

7. AI features

  • AI output can be wrong, incomplete or insecure. Review strategies and results before you rely on them.
  • When you chat with an OpenRouter model on our server, the model provider’s cost plus our markup is charged in credits.
  • When you connect your own Claude Code or Codex, the AI runs on your computer under your own subscription and that provider’s terms. Backtests still use credits.
  • BenchAlgo is an independent product of Crowie s. r. o.. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by CME Group, OpenRouter, Anthropic or OpenAI.

8. Plans, credits and payment

  • BenchAlgo offers a monthly plan with included credits. Current prices are on the pricing page and are shown again before you pay. Prices are in US dollars, and any applicable tax is shown before you pay.
  • Credits pay for AI usage on our server and for backtests, which are charged by the CPU minutes they use. No run starts while your balance is zero or below.
  • Credits are not money. They cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another account, except where the law requires a refund.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • While BenchAlgo is in preview, payments run in Stripe test mode and no real money moves.

9. Renewal and cancellation

The monthly plan renews every month until you cancel. Cancel at any time in Billing in the app or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for.

We will tell you about a price change at least 30 days before it applies at your next renewal, so you can cancel first. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

10. Withdrawal, refunds and complaints

If you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA, you generally have 14 days from the contract to withdraw from it. For digital services and credits you start using within those 14 days, the statutory rules apply, including a proportionate payment for what you used where the law provides for it.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement within the 14 days, for example with the model form below, to support@benchalgo.com. We refund what is due without undue delay and within 14 days of your notice, with the payment method you used unless we agree otherwise.

Write to us about a duplicate or wrong charge. Nothing here removes your rights for a faulty, non-conforming or undelivered digital service. We acknowledge complaints and handle them within the statutory period. If we reject your complaint or do not answer within 30 days, you can turn to the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia) or another competent body for alternative dispute resolution.

  • Model withdrawal form. To: Crowie s. r. o., Lipovník 187, 049 42 Lipovník, Slovakia, support@benchalgo.com.
  • I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following BenchAlgo service: (plan or purchase, and order reference).
  • Ordered on: (date). Your name: (name). Your address: (address). Email for the confirmation: (email). Date: (date). Signature: (only if sent on paper).

11. Availability and changes

BenchAlgo is in preview. We work to keep it available, but maintenance, security work and failures can interrupt it. We may change or remove features. If a change takes away something material that you paid for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using BenchAlgo at any time. To delete your account and its data, write to support@benchalgo.com from the email address of the account.

We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for security or when the law requires it, with notice where that is appropriate.

13. Responsibility and liability

We are responsible to the extent the applicable law requires. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies.

BenchAlgo is a research tool that neither advises nor trades. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for trading decisions you make or for their results.

14. Law and courts

Slovak law governs these terms. As a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live, and nothing here makes you give up a court that mandatory law makes available to you.

15. Changes to these terms

Every version is dated at the top of this page. We will tell you about a material change before it applies.
