How credits work

Credits pay for two things: AI usage on our server and backtests.

  • AI usage

    When you chat with an OpenRouter model on our server, the model provider's cost plus a markup is taken from your credits. Your own Claude Code or Codex does not use credits for the AI.

  • Backtests

    One credit per CPU minute. A run on 8 CPUs for one minute uses 8 credits.

  • What is free

    Creating an account, reading your tree and reports, and checking a strategy with st-mcp do not use credits.

  • When credits run out

    No new run starts while your balance is zero or below. Your tree and reports stay available. Credits refill with the next month, or contact us for more.
