In one paragraph

BenchAlgo is a backtesting and validation platform for futures trading algorithms. It runs your strategy on real CME market data for ES, NQ and GC with trading costs, checks it for lookahead and overfitting, and scores it out of 10 across twelve validation screens.

Who is behind it

Patrik Kelemen founded BenchAlgo and leads its development. BenchAlgo is a product of Crowie s. r. o., a software company in Slovakia.

Why it exists

Most good-looking backtests are luck or leaks. Telling them apart takes data, compute and a long list of checks, and it is easy to skip the checks when a curve looks good. An AI that writes strategies makes it easier still: it can try hundreds of ideas, and you only see the winner.

BenchAlgo keeps every attempt on a tree and tests each one the same strict way, with costs a strategy cannot lower. Most ideas fail, and the failures stay visible.

How these pages are made

  • The product pages and guides are drafted with AI assistance from the product’s own documentation and strategy API, and each guide shows when its facts were last reviewed.
  • Facts about other products come from their own pages, linked on the page with the date we checked them. They change, so check the source before you rely on a detail.
  • Charts and examples on this site use synthetic data, and the captions say so.
  • The results on the home page are backtests of our own strategies. They are hypothetical, chosen with hindsight and labelled as such.
  • We publish no testimonials, ratings or customer stories that do not exist.

What BenchAlgo is not

BenchAlgo is a research tool. It does not give investment advice and it does not place trades. Results come from simulated tests on past data and do not predict future results. Trading futures involves risk of loss.
